Summer Travel to Stowe, Vermont is Ideal for Boston, New York City, Washington, DC and Montreal Metro Areas Do the Math: Fuel Prices Drive Affordability Factor
Stowe, VT (June 18, 2008) No one can deny that the price of gas is astronomical as many families crunch the numbers, trying to determine if they can take a summer vacation. But doing the driving-versus-flying math reveals that if traveling from Boston, the incremental cost of driving to Stowe, Vermont this year versus last year is about the same amount a family would spend at the movies.
